The animation is by Ed Counts, Professor of Instructional Technology at the University of Tennessee. The pace of the movie is based on continuous 12 drawing sequences simulating a zoetrope. The intention of the collaborators was to create two works of art, music and animation – that reinforce rather than illustrate one another.
