The interest in forms both organic and fabricated is mirrored by a fusion of the contemporary with the ancient. The antiquated form of the Machine is in stark contrast to the modern nature of its material. This contrast creates a displaced sense of time presenting the discovery of technology as a gift to humanity rather than a choice.
