I was floored with the response to the show tonight. Twice I turned around, seeing a room FULL of folks, wondering where they all came from. I haven't even come close to hitting my stride on advertising but there were 50 enthusiastic folks in the room, most of them new.. and most of the folks from the last show not having returned (which quite honestly I expected.
the first ones were looky-lou's. these folks tonight were out for a night of entertainment)
I think the interview went surprisingly well and the reporter was more left than I expected from a paper that's kind of right of center. I'm just amazed. I never thought I'd see this many cool folks in one room in Greensboro and I definitely had never expected to be at the center of the floor when it happened.
Well, if we filled the house on the second screening... and if folks took a decided turn toward appreciation of the material, where do we go from here (assuming the attendance stays high)? I'm not ready to create a
mandatory admission although we did take donations tonight.
