MICROCINEMA PARTNERS WITH THE DOWNTOWN HOUSTON ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT ALLIANCE TO PRESENT WEEKLY OUTDOOR FILM SCREENINGS OF TEXAS AND INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS BEGINNING NOVEMBER 21
The weekly exhibition, organized by Microcinema International's Patrick Kwiatkowski, is part of the Entertainment District Alliance's "Main Event" in which Main Street is turned into a pedestrian zone for Friday and Saturday evenings. The screenings will feature artistic film and video from the extensive Microcinema Collection, which spans over eight years, and also will include guest programming by local curators and media artists. The works are being technically displayed by Houston-based Laser Technetics who also is projecting a laser light show as part of the event.
