Distributing Your Work on DVD Saturday, March 5, 10 am–5 pm Now more than ever, the costs of DVD production and replication make it easier to bring your project(s) to the marketplace. Joel S. Bachar of Blackchair DVD/Microcinema Int’l shares his years of experience distributing videos to the consumer marketplace to help you produce a high-quality product and save time and money on DVD distribution. Consider the entire process, including thinking about your DVD before you shoot; planning your DVD, what to include and what not to include; creating a budget; designing a DVD; manufacturing a DVD; creating a marketing and publicity plan; and distributing your DVD to the retail and educational marketplace.
Joel S. Bachar co-founded Microcinema International and Independent Exposure, a touring screening program of independent short films and videos. He also co-founded Blackchair DVD, which distributes hundreds of DVDs from around the world.
