Description:

JUNE, 2005!

CRASH is back in buisness! With renewed projections and programms that will conect the first efforts with this new ambitious project, CRASH will work as a microcinema -the way we always wanted- mixing videoart, mexican short production, animated and experimental films in a joyful, informative and educative effort, with the goal of bringing the true alternative audiovisual art to the audience.

HISTORY

CRASH: AUDIOVISUAL ALTERNATIVE ART, Autumn Season, took place from October 5 to 15, in which we screened short programs made by young artists from United States, Mexico, Spain, Canada, Japan and Netherlands, among others. The Audience just loved the eclectic programs from Seattle's Independent Exposure, the Spanish thrillers, the experimented, critic, funny and personal vision from Mexican video artist Ximena Cuevas and the first sci-fi film from the Mexican independent film revelation: Leopoldo Laborde.

It's important to mention the exhibition from LOVE MACHINE, a video installation in the Cinemania's lobby-bar. (Crash's South Side Venue in Mexico City).

This way, CRASH became the first Microcinema Fest in Mexico and Latina America, promoting an alternative film/video exhibition.

CRASH will include in this first Crash-Microcinema Season three programs from Microcinema Inc:
