Bio:
ed holdsworth began directing, designing and animating digital short films, promos and stings in 2000. his work is characterised by its use of sound and narrative combined with simple graphic imagery to create strong subliminal narratives. he has designed club visuals in leeds and london, collaborating with the light surgeons at the ica and most recently for new band fc kahuna, for a live event in belgium. his work has been regularly featured at onedotzero and resfest and he was one of the winners of the warp / creative review competition in 2002 with half of what, a music video for prefuse73. he has worked with shynola on a footlocker commercial for the usa, part of the creative team directed by mario cavalli on a music video for lemon jelly and created a viro short film for filmfour and a mesh scheme short called king pylon for channel 4. he is represented by passion pictures and his most recent work includes music videos for radiohead and four tet, as well as more personal projects. he was named a creative future by creative review in 2003. www.passion-pictures.com Filmography/Awards Info: This Contact appears in this database if Microcinema International has screened a film directed by the Contact, a film directed by the contact is featured in a DVD distributed by the Blackchair Collection Shop, or featured an organization or activity linked with the Contact.
