Bio:
Born in Italy in1968, he graduated in “Graphic Design” at I.S.I.A. – Urbino, with a first self-taught animation video “…E COSI’ iSIA!”. Since then, his dream had a name: Cinema and Animation Film. After working as a graphic and interactive designer, web designer and waiter, he finally wins a Fulbright Scholarship for an MFA in the U.S. Admitted in the “Experimental Animation” program at California Institute of the Arts in 1998, he moved to California, where he literally started a new life. His first experimental animation piece is “Train”, (1999) short video made with oil-painted Xeroxed copies. “L.City” is his Thesis at CalArts and his first important 16mm film. He got his MFA in December 2001.
