Bio:
"I have been a graphic artist for over 18 years. My work has appeared in a variety of formats such as, poster design, product labels, editorial illustration, hand made books and limited edition prints. Since 1998 I've been making short experimental 16mm films using papercut illustrations, movable papier mache sculptures and painting effects created frame by frame. These "Folk Art Animation Films" have been screened in many independent film festivals. In addition I've collaborated with my wife, Bea Ann (a fiber artist), in making Art Quilts. I'm currently making mono prints using the various techiniques I've learned over the years such as silk screened prints, linocuts, acrylics, and paper collage. Thematically, the majority of my work involves the intertwining of the natural and subconscience worlds, which I interpret visually by using bold colors with well defined graphics."
