Bio:
Rusty Nails is a director, writer, actor and programmer/director of the Movieside Film Festival. His new film ACNE is currently for sale on DVD/VHS. His films have played at festivals and venues around the world including SXSW, Chicago International Film Festival and the Center of Contemporary Art (Seattle). Rusty is currently in post-production of a documentary called HIGHWAY ROBBERY - this is the story of a 65 year-old blind veteran whose land was taken from him via eminent domain to enable a 17 million dollar highway to be built on his property which includes wetlands and native american burial grounds. He is also working on a documentary about George A. Romero titled DEAD ON: The life and cinema of George A. Romero. He has made over 13 short films and music videos and has worked with and made projects about such prominent bands as Arab on Radar, The Locust, Tilt, Devo and The Ramones. Mr. Nails has written for Independent Film & Video, Stop Smiling Magazine, and Supersphere.com.
