I wanted to see what will happen if I try to show the state of mind instead of a story. 2. How long did it take to make this film? 7 months. 3. What was the biggest challenge you faced in making this film? To create a picture of person's inner life. 4. Do you have any "war stories" that you would like to tell us about the making of this film? No war stories, just perpetual fight with forces (money, time, technology, criticism, fashion ...) that try to simplify / misunderstand / change / neglect one's vision. 5. What can you tell us about the technology/equipment that you used? Camera? Editing? Software? Hardware? Film stock? Video tape stock? Sound equipment? Etc. Traditional: 16 mm Kodak film, flatbed. 6. Do you enjoy one aspect of filmmaking more than any others? I love all aspects but organization process. 7. In what country or region do you live? Is it important to your art? If so, in what way? Slovenia - it is important, different cultural perspective. 8. What does "Microcinema" mean to you? Alternative way of film exposure (based on quality) and distribution. 9. What does "Independent" mean to you? To me one is independent as long as one has control over the idea/vision of her/his film and is not forced to compromise it. So independent film would be the one, which is made under this kind of circumstances. 10. What are a few tips you can give to other filmmakers? Love your cast & crew. 11. Do you have ideas for another film? If so, will you share them with us? My new film is about careless people. Usualy I don't think in terms of ideas, but just try to capture a piece of life. 12. Who is your favorite film director? Many, but if you want one: John Cassavetes (he would be the first in alphabetical order). 13. What is your favorite film? Many, but if you want one: Traveler by Abas Kiarostami (last in alphabetical order). 14. What else would you like to tell us? I prefer language of images and sounds better then language of words.
