Bio:
The REEL MACNEILLS - Alec & Niall MacNeill Richardson Over the past three years, this brother and sister directing team have produced six short films, their most notable to date FLUSH which recently won best short film and best original music at the 2004 Reel Island Festival in Charlottetown, PEI. They have enjoyed great success in fast filmmaking, with 3 top ten finalists (EL EMBARGO, SHIVER, SPIN CYCLE) and a best actor award for their past 48 hour ReelFast films. Their 48 hour horror short HORRORSCOPE was runner-up in the 1st annual BLOOSHOTS film festival in Vancouver and was sent to Austin, Texas to compete in the final screening judged by Robert Rodriguez (El Mariachi). Separated by nine years in age, Alec & Niall both discovered filmmaking 5 years ago, and are currently developing their first feature length project.
