Bio:
Annmarie Lanesey is a video, performance, and installation artist. Her work has been shown internationally at galleries, new media festivals, and contemporary art venues, both in the physical world and in cyberspace. She recently joined the adjunct faculty in the Art Department at Rennselaer Polytechinic Institute in Troy, NY. Annmarie's current works are: a single channel video about rainbows and their other sides, a grocery store performance, a performance for video about other people's bathrooms, and taping herself to her bedroom wall, as well as seeking to perform as a dead body on Law & Order's SVU. Annmarie lives and works in Troy, NY with loki and modesto and sometimes Justin. Her grandmother recently fell and fractured her hip, but is making a speedy recovery, and her nephew is finally learning to talk.
