Four poets, Lewis LaCook, Robert Roth, Alan Sondheim and Carletta Joy Walker were commissioned to create texts which I set to music. These were rehearsed and recorded by young people from a local primary school and these recordings formed the aural backdrop to three visual/performance pieces created by the artists Emily Jost and Sonja Zelic and the choregrapher Joanne Thomson at three ‘stations’ along the walk. Commissioned by Epping Forest Arts; funded by EFA and English Nature Nov 2003 – Feb 2004 Teaching interactive media module on BA Art and Design interdisciplinary course at Leeds College of Art and Design October 2003 Recordings by Tubalaté of my “Dancing Music” and my arrangement of Black Francis’s “Is She Weird?” appear on their CD “Hall of Mirrors”, the release coinciding with a USA concert tour.
