Bio:
Dave Schlafman is a contemporary character artist and often finds inspiration for his animations by making hundreds of doodles in his sketchbook. These drawings grow into loose narratives and imaginary worlds. Mr. Schlafman tries to finds a fine balance between mental illness, humor, innocence, and desire in his work. It is his dream to write and illustrate children's books, as well as design characters for animated TV shows…while continuing to create his own strange animations.
