Bio:
Rebecca Ruige Xu currently teaches electronic arts and animation as an Assistant Professor at Missouri State University. Her artwork and research includes experimental animations, video installations, and interactive multimedia projects. She received a M.F.A. in Computer Graphics from Syracuse University in New York, and a B.S. in Industrial Design from Beijing Institute of Technology. She also studied Cinematography at Beijing Film Academy. Rebecca has worked professionally in the fields of computer animation, film special effects, digital imaging, and multimedia design in China and the United States. Her work has been included in many exhibitions and won awards in both the US and abroad.
