Bio:
Kristine has worked in the film industry in various capacities for thirty years. She has made numerous other films, including Arthur and Lillie (co-producer/director), which was nominated for an Academy Award. She is also a Professor in the Department of Art at Stanford University, teaching documentary film producing and directing, and is the Director of the Undergraduate Program in Media Studies. Kristine and John Haptas have just completed a short, The Days and the Hours, about a church in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco that offers homeless people a safe place to sleep.
