Bio:
Jessica Joy Wise is a Toronto born filmmaker. She received her B.F.A in Film and Sound from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. In her second year she received a full scholarship and in her third year she was accepted to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. During her studies she completed several videos, film installations and two 16mm films, Inside Out (1996) and False Creek (1998) which have screened in Canada, North America and Europe. Most recently she completed her first independent documentary entitled Thirst (2001). Thirst had its world premiere screening at the Montreal World Film Festival.
