Bio:
Erin Hudson is a graduate student in the documentary film and video program at Stanford University and if all goes as planned, will graduate in June 2006. Before film school, Erin managed a non-profit teen center for girls in Denver. She enjoys working with youth to investigate identity and creative forms of self-expression through media literacy and digital storytelling. Erin’s first film was a portrait about her 94-year-old grandmother who struggled to give up her favorite pastime, driving. Erin is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her short film Afloat premiered at Slamdance and will screen at Full Frame Documentary Film Festival. She is currently working on a film about long-haul women truck drivers.
