Bio:
Robert Seidel was born 1977 in Jena, Germany. After school and civilian service, he studied two semesters of Biology at the University level. He stopped pursuing this field when he realized main interest was for the shapes and forms of life, not the scientific study of biology. He continued his education at the Bauhaus University Weimar, where he now studies media design. Presently, he works as a freelance author/translator and 3d-artist. His 3d work focuses on biological reconstruction and organic-abstract art. His films include: The award winning lightmare (honorary mention at prix ars electronica 2001), and Source 12, which screened at the Japan Media Arts Festival.
