Bio:

Kristen Chappa is a San Francisco-based artist and graphic designer. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Ms. Chappa's work includes direct filmmaking, painting, printmaking, experimental drawing, and soft sculpture. Her work has been exhibited at the Diego Rivera Gallery, Southern Exposure, 509 Cultural Center, The Lab, Build, and The San Francisco Art Institute. Ms. Chappa is also a curator of visual art exhibitions and dance performance. David Robert's interest in exploring the spectrum of consciousness has led him to work in film, new media, music, and robotics. His work has been shown in the United States, Canada, and Japan at various galleries, festivals, and events. Mr. Robert s works attempt to document the result of his explorations in anthropodecentric consciousness. Inspired by the remarkable intelligence of the plant kingdom, a primitive attempt at connecting plants directly to a computer to create music based on their bio-electric activity has yielded the compositional structure for the soundtrack to "an open thought".
