Bio:
As visual maker and motion graphic designer, c.h.i.a.k.i. creates moving images that touch the fields of visual music, visual language and synesthesia. With minimalist and organic aesthetics, she works in a wide array of arenas including live video performance, video installation, and motion graphic design. Her inquiries into visual communication and consciousness offer resonant aesthetic and poetic insights, as she explores a new form of expression, the conjunctions of visual and audio elements as well as other media forms. Her artwork has been screened and exhibited in various venues ranging from film/video festivals including New York Video Festival, US, Viper Video Festival, Basel, Switzerland to Art Institutions internationally including ICA in London, UK, Kunsthall in Bergen, Norway, Austin Museum of Digital Art (AMODA) in TX, US.
