Bio:

California born filmmaker, Alfonso Alvarez, has worked with many of the local Experimental filmmakers in the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly 20 years. Several of his films are recognized as part of the body of work by contemporary Bay Area experimental filmmakers. His films draw the viewer's attention by his outstanding use of colour and highly charged sound tracks. His work has screened in bars, gallerys and backyard bar-b-q’s the world over. Screenings abroad include, shows in The New York, Ann Arbor, Chicago, Austin and Denver Film Festivals. Internationally, he has screened in Mexico City, Tokyo, Singapore, Edinburgh and Paris.
