Bio:
Paul Catanese is an experimental animator who works with film, video and interactive media. He has worked primarily with methods of digital animation, including 3D animation & digital painting. Recently, he has been working with stop-motion puppetry & digital photography. With a strong interest and background in lighting design, his animations negotiate time and memory through light and its absence. Notably, Mr. Catanese’s work has most recently screened at Animac99, the Bangkok Experimental Film Festival and the Center on Contemporary Art in Seattle.
