Bio:
Based in Portland Oregon where he lives and works, Ryan Jeffery has been creating short films for the past six years. Ryan’s film work focuses on the dialogue between sound and image, depicting surreal imagery that shifts from microscopic worlds to estranged landscapes. The interest in sound and image has resulted in a close collaboration with musician and sound artist Ethan Rose, and resulted in the foundation of the multimedia band Small Sails. Ryan's films have been screened at festivals such as: Peripheral Produce (Portland, OR), Festival Nouveau Cinema (Montreal, Canada) TBA festival (Portland, OR), International Short Film Festival (Leuven, Belgium) the Bumbershoot festival (Seattle, WA) and PDX Contemporary, his representing gallery.
