Bio:

A native of northern California, John Harden made his first film for extra credit in the 7th grade. When they saw it, his teacher and classmates totally freaked out. In a good way, that is. John got an “A,” and was delighted to discover that making a movie was a way to get people’s attention and simultaneously hide in the back of the room where no-one would look at you. Perfect. After that initial success, he never really stopped making films. John went on to study film history and production at Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University, and screenwriting at The College of Marin. His award-winning films have played on PBS and screened at places like the Slamdance Film Festival, Rotterdam International Film Festival, and New Directors/New Films. In addition to writing and directing, John is a professional graphic designer and illustrator. He is married and resides in Santa Rosa, California.
