Bio:
Aimee Gillette is a writer and director who originally hails from Omaha, Nebraska. At the age of sixteen, she left home and moved across the country to experience life in Los Angeles. After establishing herself in the film industry there, she worked on pieces for clients such as Sega game systems, Rhino Records, and PBS as well as animated sequences for various cable networks. Recently, she moved across the country once again to immerse herself in the film community in New York City. Since arriving, she has made three short films, one of which recently screened at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Aimee is currently finishing her thesis work in the New York University Graduate Film program and has completed writing her second feature, "A Chocolate Dog That Doesn’t Melt in the Sun."
