Bio:
Simplistic Pictures was formed by Moon Seun in January of 2000. Moon Seun and Kevin Geiger met in 1984 at The Cleveland Institute of Art, where they collaborated on a variety of projects and exhibitions. In 1989, Moon received her BFA degree in Metalsmithing with a minor in Photography, Following a fellowship at The Glassell School of Art in Houston, Moon and Kevin began graduate studies in the fall of 1992 at The Ohio State University's Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD) through the The OSU Department of Art. Their animated short film, "Panopticon", was exhibited internationally, and they received their MFA degrees in the fall of 1994. Both moved to Los Angeles in January 1995 to accept positions as CGI Technical Directors with Boss Film Studios, working on digital creature effects for the MGM release, "Species". Moon soon joined Digital Domain, creating digital effects for "The Island of Doctor Moreau", and the stereoscopic "T2-3D" ride film. She spent the next three years at Dreamworks Animation Studios, where she worked as a 3D EFX Animator on the Red Sea sequence of "The Prince of Egypt", and Senior 3D EFX Animator on "The Road to El Dorado". Upon the completion of "El Dorado", Moon left Dreamworks and began developing the animated short film, "Henry's Garden", which is currently in release on the film festival circuit. Moon is presently working on a children's book adaptation of "Henry's Garden".
