Bio:
Maria Antelman and Drivas are working on projects based on photos shot with 35 mm camera, which are then transferred and worked in a video format giving as final product a film. They are currently working on a video series called "non-commercial commercials". This is a series of works based on commercial applications such as advertisement or TV-Programs, which are reproduced as a very abstract, very personal and sometimes almost intimate documentary giving creative alternatives to some very classical media-phenomena. George Drivas was born in Athens/Greece (1970). He studied communication theory and mass media in Berlin/Germany where he also received a Master of Arts on video and film. His work as a writer and director includes music, video clips and short or medium length documentaries. George Drivas lives between Athens and New York.
