Bio:
Born in the Black Forest in Germany, Heiko Kalmbach is a director and video artist based in Berlin and New York. He has been creating short films and videos since 1994. His award winning pieces have screened at Festivals like Oberhausen, Sao Paulo and South By Southwest. In the early Nineties, after his Civil Service, Heiko Kalmbach worked with German Off-Theater Companies as an actor and director. Since 2003 he has reengaged with live performance.
