Amy Hicks (Writer, Director, and Producer) is based in Oakland, CA. Her first film, "Eve’s Motive" a playful retelling of “The Fall of Man” on super-8, screened at Artists’ Television Access in 1999. After receiving a Film Arts Foundation grant in 2000 she shot "Hatching Beauty" on a larger film gauge (16mm) and learned to edit digitally.
