Bio:
Carl Wiedemann has been variously entangled in the realms of experimental and propaganda filmmaking for over fifteen years. Currently he is completing photography for the "epic short" 16mm film Fundamentals of the Stoma. In 2002 Carl received filmmaking grants from the Illinois Arts Council and the Chicago Underground Film Festival. Mr. Wiedemann frequently raises funds via Steadicam Operation, video-documentation services, and digital editing. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cinema and Photography from Ithaca College and an MFA in Filmmaking from the School of the Art Institute. The filmmaker coalesced in the city of Kodak (nestled in the Fingerlakes Region of upstate New York) and currently resides northwest of Gary, Indiana.
