Bio:
Weldon DeBusk is from the West Texas town of Sweetwater. He received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Angelo State University, in San Angelo, Texas, in 1989, and his doctorate in cell and molecular biology from the University of Utah in 1998. He is self-educated as an artist and animator, having developed an interest in the visual arts while a graduate student at the University of Utah. Weldon currently resides in Seattle, Washington, where he works as a research technician at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
