Bio:
Louise Bourque is a French Canadian filmmaker working and living in the Boston area where she teaches cinema. After receiving a BA in communications in 1986, she studied film production at Concordia University in Montreal (BFA 1990) and at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (MFA 1992). Bourque's films have been presented in venues and festivals in over twenty-five countries, including screenings at The Whitney Museum of American Art, The San Francisco International Film Festival, The Toronto International Film Festival and the International Film Festival Rotterdam. She has received numerous grants, honors and awards for her work.
