Bio:
Was born in Austria, studied film and stage design in Vienna at the Academy of Arts, diploma in 1983. Lived till 1987 in Austria, since then in Germany, Munich Has been making about 30 animation films and experimental films since 1980 Composing music and filmmusic since 1991. Worked on various media, such as 35mm cinema films, 70mm IMAX cinema films and Quicktime Movies for the internet. Recently also a performance, „Waking Dream“. Works in Progress: Music CD „Wellenklänge“ (Sounds of Waves), digital abstract animation film „Flockenspiel“ / Play of Flakes. Her films of the last years are mainly abstract animationfilms, painted on film stock directly. They received international recognition and prizes, running at most international animation film festivals, lots of short film festivals and experimental film festivals. Work as a jury member for some of the leading international animation festivals, among them: Member of the selection committees for the competition of Annecy 2000 and for Hiroshima 2000 . Wrote articles for the Animation World Magazine, for Animatoon (International Animation Magazine in Korea) and for ASIFA Austria. Screenings in TV and on the Web. Showreels, special programmes and presentations at International Festivals and Universities in Europe, USA and Japan Workshops at schools and universities since 1986, among them: December1999 workshop at the Royal College of Art in London.
