Bio:
Kevin Geiger met Moon Seun in 1984 at The Cleveland Institute of Art, where they collaborated on a variety of projects and exhibitions. In 1989, Kevin received his BFA degree in Painting with a minor in Sculpture. Following a fellowship at The Glassell School of Art in Houston, Moon and Kevin began graduate studies in the fall of 1992 at The Ohio State University's Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD) through the The OSU Department of Art. Their animated short film, "Panopticon", was exhibited internationally, and they received their MFA degrees in the fall of 1994. Both moved to Los Angeles in January 1995 to accept positions as CGI Technical Directors with Boss Film Studios, working on digital creature effects for the MGM release, "Species". Kevin joined Walt Disney Feature Animation in September 1995 to work as a Modeler and Technical Director on "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" sequence of "Fantasia/2000". He has since worked on a variety of digital visual development projects, has contributed to "Dinosaur", and was the Lead Modeling Technical Director on "Wild Life" and "Reign of Fire". Kevin is currently the CG Supervisor of Modeling and Character Development on "Chicken Little", worked with Moon on "Henry's Garden", and also teaches computer graphics within the Experimental Animation Department of the Cal Arts School of Film/Video.
