Bio:
"I've been into movies since I was 7, making little karate/action skits that eventually led to a major interest in wanting to become a professional actor and director. Movies are a part of me and I hope to take that part and make great films with it. I hope to show real emotion through cinema, what I am feeling and/or thinking about. Sometimes it may not be pretty because the mind can create horrible things. But those horrible things can be translated into artistic forms. And cinema is the form that works for me." - Shane Ryan Filmography/Awards Info: FILMOGRAPHY - DIRECTOR 2002 - "Isolation" (short drama) -honorable mention, AMOR PRODUCTIONS FILM SHOWCASE 2003 -winner: best film-best director-best editing-best cinematography ("best of" fest), OCEANSIDE UNDERGROUND CINEMA 2003 -official selection, SEDONA INT'L FILM FESTIVAL 2003, EDISON FILM FESTIVAL 2003 PHILADELPHIA VIDEO FESTIVAL 2003, CORNERSTONE FESTIVAL'S FLICKERINGS FILM SHOWCASE 2003, FIERY FILM FEST 2003, LAKE HAVASU FILM FESTIVAL 2003, FREEDOM FILM FESTIVAL 2004 2003 - "The Little Guy Kicks Ass" (short action/comedy) winner: best music ("best of" fest)-most entertaining action sequences (part 2:2), OCEANSIDE UNDERGROUND CINEMA 2003 official selection, FIERY FILM FEST 2003, LAKE HAVASU FILM FESTIVAL 2003, FREEDOM FILM FESTIVAL 2004 2003 - "Lucifer's Mind" (short experimental) official selection, OCEANSIDE UNDERGROUND CINEMA 2003 2003 - "So, We Killed Our Parents" (short Bmovie thriller) winner: most unusual kiss-best supporting performance, rex cobalt-most weirdest use of sex and/or nudity ("best of" fest)-most violent film (part 2:2)-most disturbing film (part 1:2, 2:2), OCEANSIDE UNDERGROUND CINEMA 2003 2003 - "The Snake's Kiss Good-Bye" (short experimental) -official selection, LAKE HAVASU FILM FESTIVAL 2003, OCEANSIDE UNDERGROUND CINEMA 2003, FREEDOM FILM FESTIVAL 2004 2003 - "Sane: The story of the boredom killings" (short mockumentary) winner: most violent film-most weirdest use of sex and/or nudity ("best of" fest)-most disturbing film-best cinematography (part 1:2), OCEANSIDE UNDERGROUND CINEMA 2003 2003 - "Fallen" (music video) winner: best music video, PHILADELPHIA VIDEO FESTIVAL 2003 -official selection, EDISON FILM FESTIVAL 2003, LAKE HAVASU FILM FESTIVAL 2003 2003 - "Pinata" (short experimental) -official selection, LAKE HAVASU FILM FESTIVAL 2003, INDEPENDENT EXPOSURE, OCEANSIDE UNDERGROUND CINEMA 2003, FREEDOM FILM FESTIVAL 2004 -distributor, MICROCINEMA INT'L 2003 - "Tragedy Rains" (short experimental) official selection, OCEANSIDE UNDERGROUND CINEMA 2003 2003 - "A Normal Life" (short experimental) 2003 - "It's My Turn Bitch" (short Bmovie) official selection, OCEANSIDE UNDERGROUND CINEMA 2003 2003 - "The Cold Heat" (short film noir) 2004 - "The More The Better" (feature romantic comedy) This Contact appears in this database if Microcinema International has screened a film directed by the Contact, a film directed by the contact is featured in a DVD distributed by the Blackchair Collection Shop, or featured an organization or activity linked with the Contact.
