Bio:
Modi produced & directed the Billboard chart topping home video "Vieuphoria" for Virgin Records recording artist The Smashing Pumpkins. She also directed the award winning home video "You Saw Me Up There" featuring Henry Rollins for Dreamworks SKG Records. Modi was also the senior documentary director of the live web cast of woodstock.com. Modi has successfully directed a multitude of noted rockumentaries and music videos for major recording artists including Iggy Pop, Smashing Pumpkins, L7, Keith Richards, and Jane's Addiction. Modi has also served as Director for the popular television show, "ABC In Concert," where she was responsible for directing numerous multi-camera live performances and interviews with name acts such as Prince, Stone Temple Pilots, and "90210’s" Vanessa Marcil. Her comedy short film, "Rosa Mi Amor" has won best short at eight different film/video festivals including The New Orleans Film & Video Fest, The Video Shorts Fest in Seattle, The New Haven Film Fest, The Tortured Artist Film Fest in WA, The New York Underground Film Festival, The San Jose Film Fest & The Hollywood Renaissance Film Fest. She directed the highly acclaimed ground breaking Jane’s Addiction music video "Mountain Song". And she also produced and directed the Henry Rollins spoken word performance video "Talking From The Box". It was chosen to represent the best of the A.F.I. Video/Film Festival and was exhibited at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
