Bio:
Liane Lang’s films, animations and photography have been shown in numerous galleries including Tate Modern Visitor's Centre, Saatchi Gallery, ICA and PS1, in solo exhibitions in both Vienna and New York and festivals throughout Europe. Lang is best known for her stop-frame animation, using models made of plasticine, clay or latex which often perform sensual and at times obsessive actions. For FW:Fwd we are showing a new piece of work, Would for Trees. Shot on Super8, the film uses time-lapse photography to capture and exaggerate the subtle changes in light and sound within a landscape.
