Bio:
devan has been supporting the SF tech art community for some time, participating in the early blasthaus, bolt and omnimedia parties with vintage network game installations and lo-bit visuals, culminating in a compact macintosh installation of 40 machines at SFMOMA's Bill Viola party in '99. Recently he has been VJ'ing regularly in the SF club scene and producing video content for clubs and musicians, while still bringing the venerable '68k lounge' to parties and tech art events. His focus has been migrating into experimental visual techniques, including hacked game consoles, low-poly 3D modeling and iterative video compositing. He forsees himself becomimg more drawn to generative processes, realtime 3D, and network driven visual pieces.
