A man, man's best friend, and a small piece of skin that eventually tears them apart. The Hangnail was produced at the UCLA Animation Workshop in 18 weeks. It is the first film by Acker. The music for the film was inspired by the composer, Esquivel. All the cells were hand drawn then digitally painted and composed.
Everyone who worked on the film is an architectural designer, except for Randy Jones who is a musical composer.
