glaswegian four piece franz ferdinand’s art school background is clearly evidenced in this promo. it melds dadaist and constructivist images into a photographic montage with the band’s staccato, stupendous performance. 30’s busby berkley routines, victorian automata and russian propaganda are all worked in odell’s considerable animation
