japanese kodo drummers in bright 3d, beat out a hefty tune, using their heads in place of sticks – so simple, so effective. as each head hits the beat our smiles become laughter. initially an interactive animation for uk designers tokyo plastic it has gone on to win the audience award at sundance 2004 and finalist at the flash forward festival – and it’s only getting started.
