My Nokia 3650 phone is a window to the world. This unit has a screen resolution of 176 X 208 pixels. The phone shoots video. The video is in color and in a format called 3GP. The screen of the cell phone is a high-resolution, full-color display of 4,096 colors. Using the medium of the cell phone, I went to Walmart and took still images of over 300 products on its shelves. The video was shot at my home, where I paced around the room in confusion. I later de-saturated the footage, to bring a more definite since of urgency with the contrast level. The work is a response to Derek Jarman’s book, Chroma. -Leddy
