still.not.still takes frozen moments in time and transforms them into moving pictures. the role of the movie still is reversed: photographic images are sequenced through a digital video camera and also by a scanning mechanism inside the jitter software environment. images are then composited through a series of delays. the piece was originally designed for an installation on an old admiral tv set. this version is a video recording of the piece played on that tv set with a new soundtrack scored to picture by agf (antye greie), a berlin-based musician.
