At its very best, a title sequence is a self-contained hybrid in which multiple media are combined to represent the essence of the film it precedes in an original way. At SubmarineChannel, we started collecting and presenting a few of the most stunning and original title sequences. This one's by Evan Mather, a filmmaker and animator based in LA. His animated main title shows an independent filmmaker struggling to get a film deal in Hollywood. But when everyone rejects his script, something inside him snaps.
