Apophany draws you into the realm of shadows where a girl's fragmented self is plagued by demons that lurk within. The young girl is drawn out of her cupboard refuge by an abrupt messenger. Objects inhabiting her environment-bottles, suitcase, manikin head and dodgem cars come alive to taunt and harass. The girl is pushed deeper within a surreal nightmare only to resurface to an unchanged world. She stands at the window to look out at her future aware that the cycle of enclosure has begun. Apophany is an exploration of haunting memories obscuring the boarder between reality and fantasy, memory and dream.
