Other Info: A story about hope and a little patch-geared robot in a Blade Runner-esque landscape, NOBO has been recognized for its unprecedented, pioneering animation style. Spawning from a country known for its very traditional animation work, impressed international producers are asking “Was this really made in Taiwan?” The trailer was so hot, it won a Taiwan Digital Content Award and debuted at MIPCOM 2002 in Cannes, the London-based onedotzero festival and Taiwan International Animation Festival. Animated in Maya, composited in Inferno, edited on Final Cut Pro, with music produced on ProTools, NOBO has been praised by CGI artists, filmmakers, and designers for it’s high-quality 3D animation work and technical brilliance.
