Description:
Based in Winnipeg, Canada, Catacomb Microcinema is a small interactive cinema that was founded in 1998. Our goals are to: 1. ** Promote ** independent, artistic films and their directors to Winnipeg, non-mainstream film goers. There are many films being produced but very few venues to show these films. 2. ** Inspire ** audiences to create film and video. Through dialoguing with each other, we hope to better understand the creative process and how the films connect with us as human beings. 3. ** Connect ** with and provide a community for people who enjoy film as entertainment and art. As well, we want to be connected with other microcinemas and film venues throughout the world.
