Description:
FAITES DE LA LUMIERE is a festive process of visual art broadcasting in the open. It’s the oportunity for local associations, artists and inhabitants to act to transform their daily life thanks to shadow and to light. Public space become a place of discovery, sharing and spectacle. A simple idea: - using any possible surface as a screen (window, façade, pavement, windscreen, hanging sheet, lake, lawn…) - to cause a transformation of the space by temporary restoration thanks to project any kind of pictures (fixed or unfixed, real or abstract, classical or experimental, silent or non-silent pictures…) - integrate inhabitants and artists in the organization of the event in order to activate exchange, meeting and sharing - invite artists of different universe to participate - open the event to the craftsmen, the inhabitants (via Light Workshop where they familiarize themselves to chinese shadow, scratched film etc…) - amplify the street party with live show or any luminous idea - the whole become an unforgettable life instant
